The brand was founded by Jan, an independent designer with a deep creative connection for the distinct geometry, bold colors, and rich history of the Old Line State. Operating a Maryland-themed brand remotely from a desk in Ohio comes with its challenges—but it’s also our greatest superpower. Free from standard tourist-trap trends, we look at local icons through a completely fresh, artistic lens. We don’t make generic souvenir apparel; we design wearable art for people who bleed black and gold.
From the historic patterns of the state flag to local nature icons like the Baltimore Checkerspot butterfly, every single piece we drop is sketched, formatted, and perfected by hand.
